St Chad’s Community Project – Nursery

In our nursery we offer a wide range of exciting and challenging learning opportunities and encourage parents and carers to be an active part of their child’s education. We believe that a child’s first experience of school is crucial for laying the foundations on which they build their future education.

Our qualified members of staff work closely together to plan a range of stimulating activities that create learning opportunities and help develop skills through play and exploration. We work according to the ‘Birth to Five matters’, which is non-statutory guidance for the Early Years foundation stage. This document helps the early year educator to support the children in our provision to progress across the seven areas of learning and development. Our curriculum follows the three prime areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework including; physical development, physical social emotional development (PSED) and communication and language.
